Disclaimer, Terms of Use, and Limitation of Liability

This disclaimer applies to SanAntonioHVACContractors.com, SanAntonioPlumbingContractors.com, and SanAntonioElectricalContractors.com (collectively, the “Directories,” “Website,” “we,” or “our”). By using or accessing any of these Websites, you (“User,” “Visitor,” or “Contractor”) agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. These terms explain how we operate, what you can expect, and where our responsibilities end.

1. Purpose of the Directories

The Directories exist solely as third-party advertising and informational platforms. Our primary purpose is to help connect homeowners, property managers, and businesses with local HVAC, plumbing, and electrical professionals across the San Antonio area. We do not perform, manage, or oversee any repair, installation, or maintenance services.

In addition, we are not brokers, contractors, or service providers. The Directories simply present listings, advertisements, and general business information that may come from public data, submissions, or paid placements. Therefore, inclusion of any business on our sites does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or recommendation. We are an advertising directory. Some contractors pay to be listed, and paid listings are marked “Featured (paid)”.

2. User Responsibilities and Due Diligence

Users are entirely responsible for verifying the legitimacy and qualifications of any contractor before hiring. This includes confirming licensing, insurance coverage, experience, and professional reputation. We don’t verify licenses, insurance, reviews, prices or any other claim in a listing, and we don’t monitor listings for accuracy. Check a contractor’s license yourself: HVAC and electrical at TDLR (tdlr.texas.gov), plumbing at the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (tsbpe.texas.gov).

We strongly encourage all users to conduct their own due diligence. Moreover, users should request references, review prior work, and confirm credentials before signing any contract or making any payment. All hiring decisions are made at your own risk.

3. Advertising, Partnerships, and Paid Listings

Contractors may pay a monthly fee ($60 per service area at the time of writing) to be listed. Payment affects which companies appear and in what order. Paying contractors may appear first or more often, and their listings are marked “Featured (paid)”. Payment is not an endorsement or a sign of quality, and we don’t check licenses, insurance or work quality. The Directories may receive compensation for advertising or placement but remain independent from the operations of each listed business.

In addition, any partnership, collaboration, or promotional campaign is purely commercial and does not alter the independence or performance obligations of the contractor. Therefore, advertising relationships do not affect how services are delivered or guaranteed.

4. Private or Personal Transactions

The Directories assume no responsibility or involvement in any communication, pricing, negotiation, or performance between a User and a contractor. All contracts, payments, warranties, and disputes exist solely between those two independent parties.

5. No Guarantee or Warranty of Service

All information on these Websites is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Directories make no warranties—express or implied—about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content. We cannot guarantee that contractors listed will meet your expectations, deliver services on time, or provide satisfactory results.

Furthermore, we do not warrant that prices, descriptions, or service areas will remain accurate or current. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use of this Website and any related information is entirely at your own risk.

6. LIMITS ON OUR RESPONSIBILITY — PLEASE READ

WE DO NOT PERFORM, SUPERVISE, INSPECT OR GUARANTEE ANY CONTRACTOR’S WORK. CONTRACTORS LISTED HERE ARE INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES, NOT OUR EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS. ANY CONTRACT, PAYMENT, WARRANTY OR DISPUTE ABOUT A JOB IS BETWEEN YOU AND THE CONTRACTOR.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT TEXAS LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY A LISTED CONTRACTOR’S WORK, CONDUCT, PRICING OR FAILURE TO PERFORM, INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY THE CONTRACTOR. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY RIGHT YOU HAVE UNDER THE TEXAS DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT OR OTHER LAW THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

7. Accuracy, Maintenance, and Updates

Listing information may be out of date or incomplete. Therefore, users should verify all contact details, license numbers, and business information directly with the contractor before engaging them. The Directories do not warrant that the site will always operate uninterrupted or error-free.

From time to time, we may update listings, change layouts, or remove outdated content without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any portion of the Website at any time, with or without prior announcement.

8. Opt-Out, Corrections, and Removal Requests

Contractors or business owners who wish to remove, correct, or update their listing may email txcontractordirectory@gmail.com. Once verified, we will process legitimate requests within three to five business days. We may retain certain non-identifying business information for recordkeeping or compliance purposes as allowed by law.

9. Acceptance of Terms

These terms apply to your use of the Websites. Contractors who apply for a listing must accept them by ticking a box on the application form, and must also accept a written listing agreement, provided before any payment. If you do not accept them, you should stop using the Websites immediately.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Except where Texas law gives you the right to sue somewhere else, any lawsuit about these Websites must be filed in a state court in Bexar County, Texas. Either side may use small-claims (justice) court instead.

11. Who runs these Websites

SanAntonioHVACContractors.com, SanAntonioPlumbingContractors.com and SanAntonioElectricalContractors.com are independent websites run by one individual in San Antonio, Texas. They are not run by a corporation, LLC or other company, and they are not affiliated with any contractor, trade association or government agency.
